Our beans are carefully grown, harvested, and selected to ensure every sip tells the story of the land it came from. We have close relationships with several “fincas” as well as our own plantation in the Fraijanes region, producing high-grade coffee since 1985.

My name is Esme, as the founder of Rare 85, my connection to coffee runs deep - spanning four generations of passionate growers and producers in Guatemala. I grew up in Guatemala surrounded by coffee farms; I learned the art of cultivation from my family. I am actively involved in every step of the process. Every step matters to me, and I am happy to share the authentic flavours and traditions of my homeland. I invite you to experience the true spirit of Guatemalan coffee.
